Depression

The word “depression” is often used but not well understood. It is frequently mistaken for tension, phobias, worry, or melancholy.

We’re all familiar with the signs of depression, sadness, and a lack of enthusiasm or enjoyment in everyday tasks. However, it may be depression if they continue and have a significant impact on our lives. Depression is a type of mood illness marked by a depressing and disinterested emotion that persists over time. It is a long-term issue that won’t go away; it usually lasts six to eight months.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that depression is the most prevalent illness globally and the main contributor to disability. Globally, depression is estimated to impact 350 million individuals.
